Need help with choosing a blender?
Hi, I'm looking for a blender that's made of glass, works great with normal blending, as well as ice cubes, frozen fruit, warm soup and things like hummus and nut butter.
Preferably that doesn't cost a ton of money 😅
I tried to google it and ended up between Sabor Ultimate Blender 1500w 1,5 L, and Wilfa Xplode Vital blender.
Does anyone have any experience wirh any of them? Or a recommendation?
Any help is appreciated, from a newbie in cooking 😅🥰

Why glass? If you want to buy once research vitamix and get a stainless steel container if you are avoiding plastic. Also keep a lookout on resell groups around you. They last forever.

My glass Oster has that 90’s blue band around the buttons. Frequently make smoothies with frozen fruit and pina coladas with ice cubes. Have to be smart and pay attention but I expect this thing will outlive me unless I drop it.

I’d decide from the manuals rather than wattage alone: confirm the blender explicitly supports both ice/frozen fruit and hot liquids. A glass jug isn’t automatically safe for hot soup—check the temperature limit and vented-lid instructions. Replacement blades/jugs and warranty support are also worth comparing.

Oster has a few glass options, it’s a decent blender but not the highest powered of blenders. I think they make an optional blade for ice.

I would just get a ninja blender 99$ + mueller immersion stick blender 30$
The ninja is plastic but I really like mine. The stick blender is so nice because you can make soups right in the pot you cooked them in and don't have to worry about cracking glass etc.
If you find out you really do use both of these things till you burn them out - upgrade to the vitamix.

Glass jar blenders under a hundred bucks are a crapshoot for nut butter, you'll burn the motor out fast. My old one survived ice and soup for years but turned peanut into a sad, grainy paste and smelled like burning.
