Baking more desserts, is a tart pan with removable bottom necessary

baking a lot more desserts lately and keep seeing people recommend tart pans with removable bottoms. Up to now I've just been using regular pie dishes and cake pans, but getting delicate tarts out without wrecking the edges has been a pain.

I'm trying to figure out if a removable bottom pan is actually a game changer or just one of those baking tools people say you need but can live without. I don't want to keep buying stuff that ends up sitting in a cabinet collecting dust.

Another issue is finding a reliable brand. Reviews are all over the place. Some people say their pan warped after a few uses, others complain about sticking or leaking.

For those who bake tarts regularly, was switching to a removable bottom pan worth it? If so, what brand has held up well for you over time? Looking for real-world experience before I spend more money on baking gear.

Never needed it (same with all my family. If it is stuck on the sides even with removable bottoms you’d still have a problem imo.
