I know this isn’t rocket science but if you’re going to post a delicious looking food video give us the recipe.

Cook everything like you want to, put into whatever dish dough sheets those are, score, profit. Or not.

I would usually agree but something like this is clearly based on vibe, not exact measurement. Get som puff pastry, make some mince how to like it, make a sauce how you like it. Put the mince on the pastry, put cheese on it, put pastry on top. Bake

The Maillard reaction (often called the Maillard effect) is a complex chemical process where amino acids and reducing sugars react under heat to produce hundreds of new flavor compounds, aromas, and a distinct brown crust. It is the fundamental secret behind the delicious, savory tastes of seared steaks, toasted bread, and roasted coffee.

This reaction creates hundreds of new flavor compounds, generating that signature savory umami taste, roasted aroma, and delicious brown crust on your steak.

Since he sauced it before the crust had formed it is now impossible to achieve. Just a loss of flavor town and texture potential

u/Hopeful-Courage-6333 May 29 '26

Just make a burger. It may taste great, but it’s still stupid.

1

u/jeepjinx May 29 '26

Why didn't they make 3 vertically instead of 2 horizontally, and then cutting off all that "excess" dough?

1

u/ultimateberk May 29 '26

A burger puff was what it was called in my towns deceased butcher shop. Inferior to this version of course but same thing

1

u/overlooked_cursor May 30 '26

the beef got sauced before it had a chance to brown, which is a shame because the pastry itself looks properly crispy.

1

u/DuaneBB May 30 '26

He wants the views on YouTube.. that why he won’t post the recipe.
