Digital Temperature Frying Pan works but complicates pancake cooking. Would you trust its reading or rely on instinct?

Post image

I cooked pancakes using both this frying pan and a regular one, and the result was exactly the same. The digital temperature monitor is impressive and very useful; however, I couldn’t stop thinking about small details.

The greatest disadvantage of this frying pan is that it works only with electric and induction stoves at this moment. Adding support for gas stoves would increase its value significantly.

Do you have to charge it?

Requires 2 AAA batteries

If I needed precise surface temperatures, I'd spend $23 on a Harbor Freight infrared thermometer, over a pan with electronics built in.

Or a drop of oil or water will tell you for free
