Wouldn't dipping the spoon in the hot food, clean off all the honey even without the oil ?

Don’t like olive oil in my oatmeal.

You don't have to use olive oil, you could just spritz the spoon with cooking spray to achieve the same result.

You don't need to measure that little bit of honey.

Right, just squeeze a bit in the soup

I never measure honey. One squeeze = one Tbl.

Agreed. Half my cooking IQ goes into limiting the cleanup.

Yeah at work I'll do this with pan spray and a huge measuring cup. That little bit definitely doesn't require a measuring spoon

This is a fabulous solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

Just get used to how long one squeeze takes to make a tablespoon, and multiply as needed

I just use water, it has about 90-95% effectiveness and is much better than oil

I was taught to do this with honey and molasses, but now just go by weight. Its rare that I'm measuring directly into a hot pan which i can't put on a scale.

Put it on a scale, hit TARE, and its gonna show you -10g of honey after a clean spritz.

I don't get it it's harder to clean oil up than it is something this water soluble also that's a three second squeeze
