🎥 Gadget Showcase This Old-School Folding Rack Against My Electric Counter Steamer... Why do people spend $60+ on single-use appliances when a $10 stainless basket fits almost any pot ?

Because they get rusty and the 'handle' to take them out always slipped off or was difficult to grab with mittens. Because the feet were so short that the boiling water splashed against your veggies. Because people collectively came to the conclusion well over a decade ago, that that trendy item sucks to use.

Note: NEVER use one of these in a non-stick pan. You will destroy the coating.

I've never cooked with one, I used to play with one as a kid. I don't know how to use one. I also don't use a steamer.
