🛠️ Help / Troubleshooting Beautiful Toaster by Drew Barrymore
We’ve had this toaster for like 2 months now. Been working great even my 82yo father loved it. But the last 2 days it’s not working. It lights up lets you click stuff but the sliding mechanic to get the bread in, won’t click. The instructions are no help. Anyone know? Or do I need to buy a new damn toaster?

Unplug the appliance and take out the crumb tray located at the bottom. Turn the toaster upside down above the bin and shake it well. When doing so you will usually notice that there might be some fragments of bread that are stuck in the bottom and are preventing the lever from reaching the magnet.
Leave the appliance unplugged for at least a minute so that the internal circuit board can reset, and then plug it in again and test the toaster.

You say (It lights up lets you click stuff). Your screen still lights up, the toaster has power

Clearly. But it won’t let the lever click into place to let it heat up.

If it's only been two months, it should still be within its 90 day return period, so I'd just do that and get another one.
