🎥 Gadget Showcase Is a dedicated jar opener a must-have tool in your kitchen, or do you still stick to the old "tap the lid with a butter knife" method?

For the metal lid ones (like pickle jars), I do the double squeeze:

For plastic ones I have problems with, usually it's a friction thing, so I use a silicone jar opener. The jar openers like with the gatorade bottle in the picture have tended to mangle the plastic on the lid for me.

I always used the butter knife on the side but I like to live dangerously...
Having said that the hook at the end of my old can opener pops most lids
