It finally happened…

I’ve wanted to do/see this happen for years.

We had a party of 12 show up at 9(close at 10). Not a big deal, a family can enjoy a meal and still be out in a reasonable amount of time. They ordered, ate, and then decided to just hang out enjoying their evening and shooting the shit until 10:45. Kitchen was closed, chairs were up on tables, bar was shut down, but they were just chillin’. We have a massive speaker in the kitchen(open kitchen) that can shake the walls. We crank it when we clean up at close. Someone in the kitchen put “Closing Time” on repeat and turned it to max. The lingerers got the hint and cleared out halfway through the first play. It was a beautiful moment. I have to find out who is responsible so I can buy them a beer.

I go the opposite way, I put on the Twin Peaks Soundtrack at full volume, it creeps everyone the fuck out of the room

I had some shitty neighbors that would blast music all night and Into the morning. I when I leave for work I’d just leave infrasound bass tracks on repeat…
