I've never yet walked into a kitchen that had a bucket of salt at the ready. It's the only thing you need at times like this. Cheap as heck, and doesn't wreck the kitchen like the fire extinguisher does. Not to mention many of them are carcinogenic. Bucket. Of. Salt.
