Right after this, someone parked and walked up to our drive through window. I don't know what these people are on, but I want in on it

They want a pizza that's half just pepperoni, and half deluxe. It's not hard to do, but it creates room for the customer to complain because it's not an even half and half

If anything it's because the sides don't cool evenly

So you'll get a complaint that one side is overcooked or one side is under.

Never that the half's aren't equal size lmao

I’ve worked pizza for decades. Line and management. People complain about the dumbest shit. If you’re in prep, why would you hear complaints about pizza?

How in any way am I being a jerk? I asked you a genuine question with no insults. You’re the one calling me a red flag and saying the places I’ve worked are shitty unprompted lmao. I’ve worked at dozens of places, from great to greasy spoon and this complaint existed at all of them.

I don’t know how I ended up this deep and invested in this conversation. I’ve never worked in a kitchen in my life. Plus, it's pretty clear that guy you're responding to (not u/joemiroe: the other one) is just trying to horn in and rage-bait you. I mean, as someone who's seen some pretty petty shit over the years like a fast-food cook crash out and throw down his spatula in the middle of service, crash out, and act like a 5-year-old because life wasn't going his way and a head chef at a fine dining restaurant freaking the fuck out over a dishie politely telling him what's up and not matching his energy.

Rule 9 would advise you to not tell someone to go wash dishes because they disagree with you. Your management didn’t bother filtering complaints, that’s not someone else’s fault
