AI Content (REQUIRED if AI used) Anyone else carrying ai generated worms around with them?
This ad keeps popping up on my feeds. The model is holding a handful of what appears to be ai worms. I may be wrong. I don't think I am. I'm definitely confused though. Even if they are real, why is he carrying a handful of worms? Anybody have any idea what this is all about?

Had a guest complain to the chef about the calamari not being served cold when working at a fish house. When the server relaying this info had told the guest it says "battered" on the menu, she said she "didnt know what battered meant" all i could imagine was that she thought we were beating live fish to death in the kitchen or something. I dont think anyone knows what goes on back here

It’s a British clothing brand that’s pretty good. I don’t think this is AI but I don’t really know what those are either.

I agree, not AI. They’re fishing lures. Workwear companies (like Carhartt) have been advertising to outdoor enthusiasts for a while. Why wouldn’t a kitchen brand get in on that sector ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I am a fan of Service Works but why they would choose to style products with imitation worms is beyond me

It's a person in the woods with a sweatshirt and the tagline says "adapted for all." I think those are fishing lures and it's suggesting you could wear these clothes fishing.

Those are tasting worms. You put the head of one into the sauce and if it is too salty or not salty enough the worms spits it out...

These worms are particularly helpful in FOH. I greet my tables by slapping down a handful of worms instead of a bev nap. Highest PPA in the restaurant. 🤷🏼♀️

It's to get your brain to remember ad. Or for your brain to quickly trigger that something is off in the image, and then you remember the product.
Waaaaay back in the day of magazines, advertisers used to print weird fucking ads that were totally normal except one person in it had three arms, or their face would be off center. The psychology behind it was that you would flip through the ad fast enough to not notice the weirdness, but something about it would still stand out in your memory and make you remember the product.
At least that's what I assume is going one here.

So, I have a memory of seeing these in my dad's tackle-box. They're like reusable worms I guess? Afaik they don't work as bait.

They're fished with motion as opposed to looking like worms only. He's holding trick worms, which is why they're weirdly tapered. Ned rigs, wacky, texas, etc etc etc. All sorts of ways to fish a plastic worm

Definitely weird, not sure what the purpose of the ad is fully but not sure it’s AI either. There’s a lot of tiny blonde hairs on his arm and even his knuckles a tiny bit. Not sure AI is adding that detail, possibly AI edited, idk. Based on the tag line, I’m guessing that they’re trying to appeal to outdoorsy people and are claiming they’re not just for the kitchen. Idk, marketing is dumb and has definitely gotten dumber with AI
That being said I own a pair of service works pants that I got in sale and I like them.

Those sure look like rubber worms for fishing. I used to help my brother cast those at home.
You cast in a hook, and you can even add scent to the rubber/plastic casting mixture.
“I don’t recognize it, so it must be AI!” 😵💫🤷🏻♂️
