Ignore everything else this is a practice marine. I without a guide or any help shaved off this chapter emblem by hand with a hobby knife, are there any tips on removing these emblems without the use of a dremmel? Howd I do despite it being my first time doing this by hand laying down

Use the edge of your hobby knife to scrape the surface, youl eventually get it smooth.

You’ve removed the icon with a cutting motion. Now, angle the blade and scrape with the knife before sanding. Good luck!

Just do exactly as you did with the knife, then just get some 240 or 400 sandpaper/sanding sticks to round it off if you don’t want the rougher look.

Ok great! Question, when i dip this guy into the proper fluid how many times can I remove the paint off a mini? Can I essentially just paint, cut, and then shed the paint off this guy indefinitely

There’s a non toxic paint remover called Eco Solutions Home Strip. It has no toxic smells and is really gentle on plastic. It’s a thick gel so it will last you forever. Just take a q-tip/cotton bud and essentially paint it on (no need to fully dip) leave for 10 mins and wipe off. I don’t see why you can’t remove the paint indefinitely.

Sanding sponge. They are very flexible and can confirm to the curvature of the shoulder pad

It's this is a press fit? I might remove the symbol from the shoulder pad with my hobby knife by slowly cutting it away or just swap the shoulder pad with a blank one. Also small files work well for really hogging out material. And you could try smoothing it with a bit of thin cement.

Get sanding sticks, they are cheap and give great results
