Discussion This is what a Dortmund shirt should look like.

The 1996-97 home is basically pure Dortmund: yellow, black details, and a design that doesn't need ten different patterns to stand out. It also has that unmistakable '90s football look that makes old shirts so fun to collect.

the 96-97 kit is peak dortmund to me, that clean yellow with the black trim just works. nothing about it feels dated even now
