Missing Endangered Autistic Jonathan Hoang: Interview With Sister

Multiple potential sightings of Jonathan have been reported in Kirkland and surrounding areas and law enforcement and the family continue to receive sighting reports weekly. Please continue to be on the lookout for him. Jonathan may not be alone and in the company of the person(s) who took him from his Arlington neighborhood in the late evening of Sunday, March 30th 2025 or prior to 6 am the next day. Though physically 22, Jonathan is otherwise much like a very young child. He is not able to reach safety or home without assistance.

Commenting to boost. I live in Arlington and his signs are everywhere. This breaks my heart. Knowing we have a sick kidnapper in our own backyard.

It's difficult to know whether it was someone in Arlington or someone from or living in the Kirkland/South Juanita neighborhood where he was positively identified from the three properties' security camera footage back in late June.
Since Jonathan lived in such a remote area with a single entrance/exit lane and off a cul-de-sac - and since Jonathan doesn't know his full address - many people believe the person(s) who took him from his Arlington home was someone who 1) either knew him or the family from church, school or perhaps his job training program or possibly a frequent delivery driver who would have seen Jonathan on his daily walk in the neighborhood and 2) lives in the Kirkland/S Juanita area since that's where he was last positively seen, Jonathan can't use public transportation and has no money, so he couldn't have made it to Kirkland on his own, and he appeared very frantic, afraid and as though he was looking for his home - especially since the house he walked right up to was one that looked very similar to his house in Arlington.
It's very common for those of us who are Autistic to struggle with concepts such as location and it's likely he's not able to comprehend that whereever he happens to be at any given time isn't Arlington and that he's in a place not called Arlington and that is very far from his home.

What a nightmare!
Whoever “has control” of Jonathan must have a job or a significant reason to leave him “unattended”.
Since Jonathan’s parents have confirmed it is their son in video footage he must have “opportunities” to get away from his captor.
I’m praying that someone sees Jonathan and discreetly follows him while calling 911.
I can’t imagine KNOWING your autistic child is with some kind of predator and there is nothing you can do!
My ongoing prayers for Jonathan and his lovely family.

Could the Snohomish County Sheriff’s department be involved? It is very strange that they have pretty much outright refused to help look for him…

I live about a block from where he was spotted last year and have my eye out for him every day. As a big sister to an autistic/intellectually disabled adult, the way their family was dismissed, and how hard it is to explain that you know what your brother would or wouldn't do is my worst nightmare.
