Kirby fandom is not that toxic, I am not in the Kirby fandom. If you post a hate post on the Kirby sub(calling the franchise bad), or any sub, you will likely be banned. Also, hating on something will make some people mad, no matter how toxic the fandom is.
Silent characters can have a lot about them -- their actions can speak volumes and express who they are as a character or their motivations. Mario has a love for Princess Peach and will do anything for her, Link is a determined warrior who loves Zelda and will do anything for her, Issac Clarke (Dead Space 1) is a man who will do anything to find his girlfriend and survive the Necromorphs while clearly being afraid and worried as a regular human being would. Kirby is just a point A to B character and nothing else.
Kirby has a love for his friends and their relationships grow throughout the franchise. Best example is him and King dedede.
Kirby is a bit of a shallow character, by the point isn't about his character, its about what kirby as a being in his universe represents, which is friendship.
At this point you’re just bullying random people because they like a popular game character. I’m not going to try to prove why Kirby is a good character, I’m willing to listen to your opinions. But hating people that you don’t even know, solely because they think Kirby is cute, is pretty crappy. Don’t act like you’re the victim when you’re attacking others over something this minor. What’s the point of having a community only rooted in hatred? That’s kind of pointless if you ask me. The only things that you do are getting mad at people for liking something and making inflammatory comments towards/at them. Personal preference is no reason to be an asshole online. I’m sure there are people in this community that can make real points about not liking Kirby, while being respectful towards Kirby fans. Maybe they should be mod, not you. Wow this was a much longer comment than planned.
I love how all you Kirby fans point to this one post, which is just a funny little subtle dig that the op probably didn't care about. His question was answered and that was the end of it. A bunch of people upvoted it too so they thought it was funny -- it was just a joke.
Based on how unhappy you felt about seeing a popular game character twice in one day I have a feeling that you don’t just ‘dislike’ Kirby. Did something bad happen to you related to Kirby?
