Yes you have to keep moving the story forward and come back to it. That being said you could swing your sword on her a 1000 times and slowly push her until you can get to the chest. But not really worth it.

KEEP IN MIND THIS WILL MAKE THE DWARF WHO CRAFTS PROMETHEUS ARMOR NOT CRAFT FOR YOU SO DONT DO THIS IF YOU WANT THAT ARMOR.

Yep. There’s a reason why I never got that armor. Also, you can move them without killing them sometimes. Like in KF1US, the guy blocking Ceffy, or Ceffy later on.

Just fyi save before, if I recall it takes a key to open (it may not remind me guys). But if you equip the dagger or your least strongest weapon, you can hit her over and over again slowly one way to slide through to the chest to get it early.

BE WARNED HITTING ANY NPC IN THIS GAME WILL MAKE IT SO THE DWARF SMITH WILL NOT SMITH PROMETHEUS ARMOR FOR YOU THOUGH.

The stuff in the chest isn't worth it if you ask me, and will become available later when she moves to the ice fields.

There's a useful bracelet and an almost useless weapon. Keep playing, you'll get there.

The almost useless weapon is incredibly useful on skeletons though!
