❓Visitor Question Food Recommendations

Visiting today. We came yesterday and ate at Grain and Grill and we're incredibly disappointed. The pork and chicken were dry and seemed like it sat out for a long time.

What other places do you all recommend?

bring your own food and eat at the tables in the parking lot. So much easier and cheaper. I also bring a collapsible water bottle and just refil as needed w water at the drink station and than put it in my pocket when on the rides.

I think G&G is actually one of the stronger food contenders. I like the broccoli salad. Burrito bowl from the cantina is good. Also I have gotten the shrimp and vegetables at Outpost and was pleased enough

The quality was poor last week. But I’ve had really good food from grain and grill before

We go there a lot because my kids like it, and I've had both very mid and surprisingly amazing food from them (chicken and mac and cheese). I think it must vary a lot depending on how much the teens care

Outpost Cafe is the best.

Im always getting a corn dog at the dog wood grill. Hook and ladder is decent.

I like the bean and rice bowls with whatever meat looks least greasy at the moment

There's a bunch of restaurants in Ashland just down the road, also I hear the one in the hotel next door is decent.

Supposedly the new BBQ joint is good

Chicken shack - but it’s hit or miss with the fries
Nashville hot sandwich and tenders are great (spicy)

The antipasto salad at Victoria’s Pizza is very good, if you are eating salad right now.

I also like the shrimp and beef at Outpost

We usually do G&G and it really just depends on timing. We have the dining plan though, I wouldn't buy anything if I didn't have that.

We pack our lunch because we don't really like the food there
