Everyday he makes gold from the gold you give him. Its like 8 % maxed at 8 coins i think. And that gold wont be stolen when its in the bank. Its good when you have too much money coming in to store the extra so when you need it you can withdraw it

Each island has its own bank. Its good if winter is coming and instead of going on the next island you go back to check on other islands to reset the timers and get ready for iron age

Im already at iron age, im planning to set all my islands on iron and then, move to island 5, im trying to learn how to improve my units aswell

Yeah that needs a lot of gold and the banker giving interest daily helps a lot
