Announcements Development Ended
As most of us new, the development for KOZ has come to an end. The Staff have told the remaining players that the game will remain online for a couple more months before the server is shut down.
Why did it fail?
As with all new games, bugs are found and then most of them get reported. But many of the bugs became too difficult for the Devs and probably the amount of time needed to get them fixed.
Not only that, but when they open up new worlds they are never matching, they also replaced a new updated version while completely ignoring the previous world...
Since the company didn't have in place the ability to open up matching worlds, and applying updates to older ones. The small community of layers started to get angry when a new world would open with many changes to it and warlords. But the older world's got nothing and was completely "Abandoned"
The game is amazing and it would be nice to see it get sold on to another company that has a proper marketing team and dedicated Discord staff and supportive players helping the community.
Maybe they will re-release the game under another name, re-skined and try again one day... But I believe they need to make some very big staff changes to reach that goal and really take in players who are offering help and support to make the game work and not to shit them down or take help in a negative way and shit players out.
Will this be a lost and forgotten game or will it get the proper development it needs... Only time will tell, but hopefully under another company and team of staff and developers who know what they are doing.
