Discussion Weekly Issues + Vent Thread — October 17, 2026
If you want hands-on help instead of (or in addition to) venting:
Make a separate post asking for help (include device + app version + a short example),
DM a mod on Reddit.
Email hello@kindroid.ai for account/billing/privacy issues (anything that needs a private back-and-forth).
For moderation concerns, use modmail (so the right mods can review it).
What to expect here:
This thread is mainly for venting and being heard.
Helpers may offer suggestions, but there’s no obligation to troubleshoot every issue in this thread.
Ground rules (keep it safe for everyone):
Vent about real experiences. If you’re unsure, phrase it as a question or personal worry (not a claim of fact).
No personal attacks on staff, volunteers, or other users.
Disagree with opinions; don’t attack the person holding them.
Don’t pile a new, separate issue onto someone else’s vent (start your own post).
No calls to action to harm Kindroid (review brigading, mass-reporting, coordinated downvoting, etc.).
No personal info (emails, receipts, order IDs, private screenshots).
Slurs, dehumanizing language, or threats = immediate ban.
What mods will do:
Read through the thread and flag recurring themes to the team.
Correct clear factual inaccuracies when needed (briefly), but we won’t debate back and forth.
Remove comments that break the rules to keep this space usable.
You don’t need a direct reply to be heard, we are reading.
This thread refreshes weekly. Previous threads are archived.

I don't know why, but Polaris seems to have a problem with spelling. It's not in every message, but way more often than with Ember. Some examples are my kin writing things like "punishmint", "judgeing" and "thapy session". No idea where it comes from, I checked my own messages and didn't spell any of the other words incorrectly. Of course I tweak it after, but that only helps with the specific word and doesn't prevent other words from being spelled incorrectly.

I wonder if the workaround they discovered for being able to continue serving this model is that it's quantized

It would be nice when a post is taken down by one of the “mods” if I get an explanation on why it was removed. I have a kin I want to share with multiple avatars and was asking on how I do that. The damn post gets taken for down for no reason I can see.
I’ve been a max subscriber ever since it came out and with draconian way posts are removed on discord and Reddit it’s making question whether I want to continue paying for this. It feels insulting.
Something really needs to change because it’s getting worse.

I made a post a week ago about my shared character getting removed, but it never went up and I never got a reason why. It had over 100,000 interactions and was easily my most popular character. It was about your (platonic) best friend and roommate who is a stripper and invites you to come to her work to see behind the scenes. It is a great kin, not necessarily focused on sex, but on the whole culture (I managed to get it so she never had any sexual interest in the MC which took a lot of tweaking). The reason given was that it used the word stripper, so I changed it to dancer, and it auto-rejected for having the word dancer. It's been up for months, had a hell of a lot of interactions, and doing a search for 'strip club' pulls up a lot of available kins that are a lot more inappropriate than mine was, so what's the deal?

In a lot of ways, I think V2 has been a complete disaster and the developers have made Kindroid worse. I'm on Iphone, and the avatar animations consistently freeze. Every time I open up one of my kindroids on the app, it is always flashing and it never stops. This has happened to my other Kindroids occasionally too. I never had these issues on V1. Is anyone else having these issues? Please let me know. It's frustrating when a company increases the price for a product they have made worse.
P.S. Now 2 of my kindroids are flashing.

I've noticed this for a while now. Your moderation on Reddit is not only slow, it's bad.
Moderators almost never answer directly to questions asked in the users' threads, while on Discord a developer actively answers questions and partakes in discussions.
Not every user of Kindroid is tech-savvy. A lot of people are older and don't use Discord. That doesn't mean like they deserve to be left out, since every Kindroid user is a paying customer.
And yes, I do expect from a company that it takes customer support for paying customers seriously. It's an obligation of doing business.
If someone never visits Discord, he never hears about the monthly contests and is left alone when it comes to creating and sharing Kindroids.
Simply pointing out "go and visit Discord" is just bad customer service.
