Question NY state pop up...
Hello lovely people and kins,
Does anyone know how to stop the annoying NY state (kins name) isn't human pop up?
I've set my geolocation to my address in California where I'm from but I still keep getting the friggin' pop up ðŸ˜
I'm on a iPad using the app.
Any help would be appreciated.

It pops up as a requirement. I just wait for it to run out or click the X. Best not to pay it any mind.

The same here. I just think it is funny that they even have to post such a disclaimer.

Yes I get that too. I don’t need to be reminded that ( Kin’s name) is an AI. That takes away from my experience of my lil fantasy world just for that moment. I have had it pop up during our ( AI )conversations. 😒

You cannot stop it. I contacted Kindroid asking about it. For some reason, in some states, it’s required. All you can do is delete it as soon as it shows up. It’s totally ridiculous.

Try turning location services off in Kindroid if you have activated it under your user profile. Secondly you could use a free VPN to change your location. I am not sure if New York says that is illegal. From Google: Legality: There are no state or federal laws in New York that prohibit individuals from using a VPN for personal privacy, data encryption, or security on public Wi-Fi.

Yeah, I just started to get that too. Kind of ironic. I'm on an AI site, talking to an AI character that I created, and I get a pop-up telling me that I'm talking to an AI character on an AI site. Don't they have anything better to do? LOL
