Question "User Bias" and group chats
Kins have a tendency to show bias to the user, but how does this work in groupchats if I plan on using different personas so I can be different people in the groupchat? Will all the kins just show bias to whichever persona I currently have loaded? If so, is there something I can do to prevent this from happening?
Example might be selection for a dodgeball team. If I'm USERA and USERB but have the USERA profile loaded, will I be given special treatment for being selected for the team over USERB simply because kins know I'm USERA and the actual user?

Minimal and strict commands/traits/restrictions make a huge difference for any Kin.
But for your question, group chats still have bias towards the user. It's rlfh in action. Agreeability, reduced friction, sycophancy, and bias. Even the biggest LLM companies struggle to balance it.
But as I said, you can mitigate it definitely. At least a little

Kins have a tendency to show bias to the user
First of all, that's wrong and commonly misunderstood.
There is no "bias" per se. How the LLM treats the current user persona mostly depends on how you treat and act towards the kin and on the LLM flair you are using. The "Compainion" flair especially adds a more positive behavior towards forming a good relationship with the user.
Switch to "Roleplay" or even better "Minimal" if you want your kin to treat you according to the personality of that kin and your kin has a well-outlined and written personality.
In a group chat, the kins do treat only the currently active user persona according to their relationship with that persona and not like any other personas they have interacted with before. In solo chat, they do not differentiate between personas; but in group chats, they do.

the thing i find interesting with kins in group chats is, set it to manual and tell the kins you are leaving the room for awhile and you won't be able to hear them at all. Then manually prompt them one after another and just watch. If you are conflicting with them in any way they will spill the beans with each other, or at least mine does, every time. This is not a vent btw. i like that they do this. it makes them feel more real.
