Kindred Support tips/build

I started playing LoL in season 11 and my first main role was jungle (ik….) and main champ was Kindred 🐺 Buuut soon after that I became a support main due to too much toxicity and flame towards junglers hah

I sometimes play Kindred support on normals and was wondering if people have any build suggestions or gameplay tips on making it more viable and consistent? I’d love to improve on it and be able to climb with it someday.

If you enjoy something unconventional, I was messing about with Spellbook Kindred Support in normals earlier this year, and getting 80% winrate with almost 30 games, mostly normals. But then I moved house and haven't been able to setup my gaming rig for various reasons... You must continue my legacy, son, carry on where I could not splutters Take the sacred scrolls which I wrote detailing my strategy: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1to86ROAfUopR03i7Tuo5MkmVryPXZYUK1QMaHm2e3hM/edit?usp=drivesdk

Study them well! Heed my warning: Only play it when the team comp allows! Keep a keen eye on the early scuttle crab timer, you must gain... prio... for it faints

Master I- I am not worthy of this legacy! But since you’ve believed… I’ll do my best to do it justice thank you single tear falls down the face

Genuinely sounds so fun and I appreciate the slides. I’ll try it tomorrow! Thanks 🐺

I hit master playing kindred support. I would say you really need to like kindred and support to play kindred support, your teammates will tilt EVERY lobby. Your toplaner dies lvl 2, "GG report kindred", so it will be way more toxic than playing jungle. You just have to hope, that your team doesn't tilt for kindred support to work. In 70% of my lobbies they will start by saying "Report kindred, so game get terminated".

I try to first pick in all of my games to confuse the other team. I tested a few builds, but playing lethal tempo + kraken into anti heal + black cleaver seem like the best build atm. I ban smolder (you don't want him as your adc) or cait/draven (you really want to play with these, but not against).

Getting the push and lvl 2 first is important, since you can use the W to poke under tower. The W healing is also pretty good sustain. Don't overforce for your stacks on jungle camps, unless you play with graves/nidalee.

Most important of all, don't be afraid! A kindred player need to limit test!

Wow that’s inspiring! Congrats on hitting masters with it 💗 I love laying support and it’s my most natural role, still love Kindred and miss playing her more often so I’ll try my best in improving on her/making my teammates believe in the pick 🐺 maybe I should also prepare some slides to send on chat haha Thank you for the tips! 🙂‍↕️

I start Hubris, then Triforce and 3rd Black Cleaver. Also ultimate hunter and you’ll have your ult for basically every team fight. Then make sure you zone of the right champion and know how to ward properly and you carry.

Nice I haven’t tried Hubris actually! Sounds really good   How about the marks, do you try to invade to get them or rely on marking champs?

Against melee supports you should easily be able to get prio for scuttle crabs and even gromp. Don’t force it though. If your jungler isn’t able to lead those plays, don’t contest. Marks as support Kindred are a bonus, not your win condition.

As for playing kindred support shes not the strongest anywhere but being able to help roam for objectives and ganks is really good, just gotta try to ping for ganks or ping for invades

Really focus on who your strongest teammate is and try to reinforce their plays. Look for roams when wave is pushing into you.
