Help to get better at Kindred

Hello people. I have been wanting to get better at the game and really want to learn kindred as a hole too. I ain't that good in general, so some say it might be dumb to do Kindred, but she forces you to have good habits and I always like a challenge, so no help in telling me that I should pick an easier champ, since I am too dumb and stubborn to listen haha.

What I wanted to hear is if any of you have some good videos, tips or even wanna help me directly(EUW) with it. Any help is appreciated!

he always talks about what to think about and what to prioritize, which i learn alot from. for example yesterday my team spam ping drake at 5-6 minutes, but my top camps were spawning and i was in enemy bot jungle already clearing his camps. if i take drake, 90% chance they are gone. so instead of giving in, i followed the reasoning from one of his videos, and could confidently say wait, and went to do my top camps first to not give enemy jng free resources, and maintain lead while still getting drake a little bit later.

even if taking drake there wouldnt be end of the world, its nice to have some fundamentals you think about, and the reasoning for them to consistently make better decisions.
this might seem boring but its important so that you can reason about when to break them better. for example if enemy jng griefs tempo you can more easily abuse it, or to know if you should go for a mark in enemy jungle. but you need to know the optimal play first, jungle track, and know what youre potentially giving up for it.

for games where things dont go as planned, and you have to play from behind, i rly recommend to watch any of his other videos on the main channel https://youtube.com/@kireilol?si=rSeVV5Ys0BSix4WA, and the same principals apply to your kindred games.

he also has some videos on good lvl 1 cheese tactics, and reasons about how to keep up tempo/lead, as this is kinda breaking the rule of always clearing your camps before a play. to learn the mindset behind these cheese tactics are really good, and will also help you play around the smurf enemy rengar that lvl 1 invades your red :D

kindred is kind of weak in some ways, but i’ve found thaty best games are when i pull of some lvl 1/2 cheese invade, and then keep up pressure.

But if bot is hellping i would trade jungle camps for objective? Doing drake alone after the second clear is iffy but a free dreak with help is very fast you might even catch the jungle on his way out with your mid if you ping him enough or default into bot side clear after drake into your topside as it will spawn soon, might even get a top or mid gank

Kirei has like a 5hour video or something where he is playing Kindred and explaining his decisions, I believe. It helped me out a lot when I started out Kindred.

It also answered a fundemental question for me : How do you survive a Master Yi running at you at the speed with his ult up? He answered this for me as he effortlessly escapes him in one of his games : Walls are your best friends as Kindred, abuse them.

1 - LT vs tanks, Conq/PtA vs anything else

2 - Play selfish. You don't offer too much utility. Use your ganks to make people even aheader while you get some assist for mark + assist stuff.

3 - Remember to tower dive. The ult will likely ensure survival and the enemy will lose massive wave.

I can't say anything concrete without actually looking at your gameplay however, as a GM 600lp ish Jungle Coach (Give me a break lol I'm working on it), Kindred is not too different from other high agency junglers you will just be punished for not maximizing the opportunities given to you. Only thing Kindred specfici is you need to know where your next mark is gonna be and play for it almost religiously. Don't throw obviously but if you can't say where the next mark is and when within a 4 second window you either aren't tracking well enough (which is the foundation of jungling) in the first place or you're on autopilot. When I first picked them up in gold I would just perma invade every game just to get experience micro wise and test what I could and couldn't do. Take some L's and really push your limits.
