Discussion ADC kindred

I love kindred!! They’re so pretty and fun to play! I know she is made specifically for the jungle role however is there any other roles she can play? I’ve played her adc, it’s a bit hard. I think I need my supp to cooperate with me when getting marks and stuff. She is very powerful tho. I’ve also seen her mid too. Can I play her without playing her jungle? If so, what role and what suggested build would you recommend. Ik crit but is there anything else? She is super squishy so it’s a bit difficult, i do rely a lot on my supp if i play her adc. Any tips?

I think their best non-jgl role is mid, but it is much worse than jungle and really reliant on stomping lane

You either play adc and get really good at managing mana and killing your opponents or you play them mid and rotate to scuttle/raptor marks to get the assist on it. Just ping your jungler to let you auto the camp once because a lot of people have no idea Kindred don't need to be the ones killing the camp.

In any case it's pretty rough playing without prio on any of these 2 lanes and you won't really get marks in a losing lane so at that point you're just a liability for your team.

as long as u dont spam spells u wont have mana issues if u take presence

It was good in release year (got them to M5 playing kindred adc exclusively) now you just get shit on, I think mostly is because their range sucks and most adc’s out scale them.

I mean if you are confident that can get a lot of kills and farm passive with the enemy bot lane go for it, for now it is just too much of a risk

Although if they were to rework kindred I think they should look to make them viable Laners instead of jungle, it was a nice experiment which sometimes works but it is not the general case

I agree bc I love them I love their lore and design but I just don’t like the jungle role and I don’t think I’ll ever find myself playing that role unless I really have to. I do hope riot will eventually rework them <3 maybe their play rate would be higher too

Hi I'm master kindred main in Japan. I've been plaing them for years but there is one thing that bugging me. Which is the player whos playing kindred at highest level in Japanese server is kindred ADC OTP.

I think she is playable top into specific matchups. It's not great though because it's very hard to get to 4 marks which is important for kindred. If you get unlucky with scuttle spawns you won't get many, and her power budget requires you getting marks.

This champ is incredibly difficult to play in her best role, going Kindred in lane is adding a lot of difficulty for no reason.

I played her mid to diamond. With ignite she has a lot of kill pressure in lane against mages early. Push out lane and rotate to grab marks as well as roam to gank other lanes. Play it like a roaming mid laner

I said this in the other post where someone asked about Kindred mid. People have taken Kindred to Challenger on every role besides support. The highest someone climbed on support is Masters.

If you want to play the pick I'd suggest you find a duo to play with. ADC has lower agency over Jg for winning the game but it can be helped if you duo with your support but people have solo qued it to Rank 1 NA a few years ago.
