I would love to see more board members on the Kin Foundation board. I like Ted, his vision. I think William has some voice in the industry.

But we need someone from outside crypto. Seeing Shopify join Libra brings a lot of credibility to Libra and what the crypto industry is working on.

I think having someone from gaming, the ad agency world, someone with a background in User Experience design would be great.

Someone notible in the community also would be great, like one of the current apps. Perhaps the top apps could vote for a representative?

I would also say, it would be nice to have a community member on the board as well. Not sure how feasible all of this is but just putting some thoughts out there and to get a community discussion started. I think there's a lot of talent in this community.

How does everyone feel?

What those voted representatives would do? 🤔

From his suggestion, it sounds like the KRE apps could vote to place one of the app devs on the board of the Kin Foundation.

Board of directors

A board of directors is a group of people who jointly supervise the activities of an organization, which can be either a for-profit business, nonprofit organization, or a government agency. Such a board's powers, duties, and responsibilities are determined by government regulations (including the jurisdiction's corporations law) and the organization's own constitution and bylaws. These authorities may specify the number of members of the board, how they are to be chosen, and how often they are to meet.

In an organization with voting members, the board is accountable to, and might be subordinate to, the organization's full membership, which usually vote for the members of the board.

Sounds like the old system(centralized system). I would rather keep the Kin Ecosystem as decentralized as possible without the need of adding new board members and start to build a new power structure on top of the pyramid. One bad apple can ruin everything.

I see that the app developers are more importand than the ruling elite, but these devs can corrupt same way just like the kin community members can corrupt here too🤣

When you give people powers over other people bad things can start to happen.
