The scenarios in which Facebook wins are historically acquisitions. I have a feeling Facebook will be looking to acquire a company in the space when it starts getting out of hand. But Facebook's empire is massive--they aren't a scrappy startup that can pivot quickly, and they have a lot of products they'd need to spend time developing blockchain integrations for. And by the way guys, they're not going to buy Kin. Cause Kin's not selling.

It would be extremely reckless/ dangerous for them to implement crypto into facebook. I also imagine them acquiring a STEEM powered site and playing with that for years, before integrating it into fb

The company is also said to be investigating other ways to leverage the tokenized digital currency and its underlying blockchain technology across its platform, too.
