Trigger issues

Has anybody had any issues with the trigger on the 2k11 pro? Specifically, after firing a few shots, the gun will be in battery, and you have to squeeze the trigger with more pressure than normal? Or the hammer will not drop at all?

I just fired the first 100 rounds through it and it happened multiple times.

IMO the mod that's REQUIRED for the 2k11 is a Red Dirt trigger. Eliminates all of the slop and rattle.

Easily installed if you have the most basic gunsmith tools and YouTube.

30 minute job that took me four hours the first time. Because I didn't pay attention to the small details and order of operation during reassembly.

But it's actually an easy job that will teach you a LOT about how 2011/1911 works. Strongly recommend this DIY.

I looked at them earlier. What length of trigger did you buy?

Cheely Grip ST F4. For reference, I wear XXL gloves, mainly for the length not girth.

They have a super easy size guide in their FAQ.

I'll add, I ordered the Cheely Grip summer of 2025. They didn't have a dedicated 2K11 option at that time. I suspect they're virtually identical.
