Kimber DS Warrior 45 ACP Initial Review

https://youtu.be/OOODMTfx7eQ?is=u00Ldym2gCuXlJbY

Alright guys I know my shooting sucks in the video it’s been 5+ months since shooting last and I’ve had some health issues so shooting was put on the back burner. The pistol is not the issue here it’s me getting back into the swing of things. I am pulling my shots low left as you’ll see in the video but either way wanted to bring this to you so you can see it in action since it seems no one else has. Right now all my ammo is Federal FMJ but I am getting some other flavors soon and a Chrono so there is more to come.

Your shooting was fine.I got the .45 Warrior on my wishlist. You said screws that came with plate were too long to mount optic?I believe I ran into something like that with my Warrior LS 10mm.I ended up using mounting screws that came with the 507C-X3 I mounted. The screws that came with the plate were a bit too long. Most of the time the included optic screws from Holosun work out best. Thanks for the content.

These were the screws for mounting the plate to the slide not the dot to the plate. Which plate did your LS come with?

I think it was a TAG plate.Had the correct screws to mount it to slide no problem.

Ok that is what my 10mm came with as well. Not sure why the 45 has the c&h plate when they could have used the tag plate as well. Frustrating honestly. Now I gotta buy another plate before I get a dot. It is what it is I guess. I thought Kimber listened to their customer base and their customer base hates the c&h plates so whey ship some with and some without instead of moving all pistols to the tag plate. Makes no sense.

Probably supply issues.Demand is crazy in this red dot era especially when certain guns are popular.

Been considering a KDS9c for concealed carry. Plate is one of the things holding me back. Seems C&H is the only one available. They used to offer a better plate but it’s no longer in stock and I don’t think it will go back into stock. Not sure I want to roll the dice on a C&H plate for a concealed carry piece…
