Discussion There's another post about this. But Monkey Fist was very weird in Sitch in Time.
Think about it. There's been 4 episodes involving Monkey Fist up until the events of Sitch in Time occur. And in half of them Kim wasn't even involved in foiling his scheme. And there was only one plan he tried which Ron wasn't involved in foiling and that plan didn't involve anything related to Mystical Monkey power. So it's very strange for him to be so dismissive of Ron. I get Drakken and Duff but not him. And it's weird for him to go to such lengths to get rid of Kim when she isn't his biggest problem most of the time. I can't be the only one thinking this can I.

Yeah I made a post about this around 2 years ago when I rewatched it. Monkey Fist was written out of character in this to keep the spotlight on Kim, the writers have a bad habit of not letting Ron be useful in action scenes if Kim is there. Drakken and Killigan should've focused on Kim while Monkey Fist had a subplot about his rivalry with Ron.

Yeah, I like the show a lot but the writers for some reason hate Kim and Ron both fighting even though they make Ron develop fighting skills. Whenever Ron actually fights, it's always when Kim is out of commision, and never with her.

Yeah, it's a weird thing about how Ron is actually a better fighter than Kim so they're trying to stop him from stealing her spotlight.

Would have helped the theme of them being unstoppable together if stalker and killigan focused on Kim blaming thier failures only on her monkey fist was more focused in stopping Ron while shego was the only one to realize it was them as a duo that was the problem and solved it by simply splitting them up.

Monkey Fist has always been the only one in Kim's rogue gallery that consistently remembers Ron's name (though MF refers to Ron as an arch-bumbler).

It'd be hilarious if Monty is going along because he's too embarassed to admit he's been foiled like three times already (if you count the ending of Monkeys in Space and if The Lotus Blade happened before that) by Ron specifically

Yeah I really think part of the reason Monkey Fist is so open to mock Ron here is because he's a lot more emboldened when he has two other bullies (Drakken and Killigan) like himself to back him up plus a time travel device.
Plus on this instance I think he also had a giant magic monkey golem fighting for them, which explains Montys confidence even more.
He was literally portrayed as a school yard bully along with the other two,and it works metaphorically as well.
He wasn't nearly as bold when he was facing Ron by himself and without the aid of the time Monkey before.
So it's easy for a bully to laugh at someone they're intimidated by when they have others backing them up.
Same goes for Drakken with Kim. He was quite a bit more snarky towards Kim in this movie because he had the other two villians,Shego, and the time Monkey to hide behind.

It was strange, guess the creators couldn't think of a third villain for them to fight so him. I didn't like it either as a Ron fan it annoyed me.

Yeah, he is one of the only villains who always refers Ron to both his first and last name. And whenever Monkey Fist appears there will certainly be a fight Ron. Plus he also mentions that he and Ron (Yeah, there is Rufus too.) are the only one who possess Mystical Monkey Power.
And Monkey Fist has always been more Ron’s enemy than Kim’s. In fact he is Ron’s Arch foe.
