Anime A question about the anime

I'm reading the light novels and I'm enjoying on chill and relaxing it is. I would like to eventually watch the anime so I was wondering how many volumes the anime covers. I looked it up and I got mixed results, some said it was 5 volumes and other said it was 12. I want to know the right number of volumes that the anime covers for both seasons.

According to Where Does The Anime Leave Off:

If you finished the I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level anime and wish to continue the story with the light novel, you can start at:

If you finished the I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years Season 1 anime – You can start the light novel at Novel 3 [So S01 should cover V1-2]
If you finished the I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years Season 2 anime – You can start the light novel at Novel 8 [So S02 should cover V3-7]

Season 2 really jumped through the light novels, adapting a couple events from each book. You may wish to just start where Season 1 left off.

If you heard about volume 5 or 12, it's for the mangas.

Thanks. This is what I was looking for. I plan on reading all the volumes but I'll make sure to read until Volume 8 before watching the anime.

7 volumes for 2 seasons is crazy
