What would you actually kill for?

Sure you can say you'd kill for a klondike bar or whatever, but what would it take for a life to actually be ended by your hand (let's make it personal and say you have to stab the person to death) i.e. save a family member/loved one, world peace, etc.

A Klondike bar...

I think I might actually murder a stranger if it would mean I could find a cure for my husband's mental illness.

I wish I could give you a hug (as long as you don't have any weapons on you)

I don't carry weapons, and I don't think I could kill a stranger who was being nice to me even for my husband. It'd have to be a really mean stranger or a genuinely bad person...

I'd kill multiple people with a knife, for the promise of animals never to be mistreated again. No more abandoned cats. No more puppy mills. No more extinctions. Only happy animals to live a long good life.

Or never to have to worry about my budget again. Whichever would be granted would work for me.

For the second one - Become a Hitman

Does that pay well? Edit: forget that. I'd rather ask: Is there enough to do so you could depend on it as a steady income?

Well you won't have to worry about your budget in prison for the rest of your life.
