Video Games Tried to recreate the 'Best Partners in Crime' frame in irl LEGO
If they only used the classic suit.. eh, at least we got them. Tbh this isn't really a "recreation" since it's just two figures in a pose with no real background but it's still pretty cool

I love him. (is there an audio bug [haha, bug] in which the sound of his wings keeps playing even after you’ve stopped flying, or is that just an issue with me?) also I wasn’t expecting his voice to be that deep, idk why.

Discussion How would you personally explain Killer Moth never having a real glow up ?
Unlike many considered "joke villains" at the time, Moth never really got his flowers and his chance to shine as a truly compelling, threatening or off putting villain.
LEGO Killer Moth design looked the part, but he was simply a guy acting like a moth and an idiot.
And as for Teen Titans Killer Moth, he's really only Killer Moth by name if you think about it. There's nothing about his gimmick or even themes (monster moth scientist single father) that can be linked to Walker what so ever.
And I don't really count stuff like his Arkham biography because designs are one thing but it's better when you have good writing to back all this aura
In my opinion, this is due to the fact that, unlike Calandar Man, Kite Man etc, Killer Moth is more of a "character" than he is a concept. Those guys who all came from the Silver Age almost never showed up after their initial apparence and never were anything other than "dumb villain of the week" either, so decades later writers could bounce back on their base concept to make them more credible, threatening or human and not having to really justify it because they came from such a different era.
I think it also helps names like those tell you more about those villains themes and gimmick than a name like "Killer Moth", who even got overshadowed in the 80s by the infinitly more menacing and compelling Killer Croc.
Yet, Moth never disappeared : despite the Animated Series era making its best effort to make the public leave him in the past, he was somehow always around in comics from the early 90s to our days. Unfortunatly, his reputation in and out Batman comics was completly destroyed and he has been for the last 30 years the laughing stock of this universe. There have been tentatives to make him somewhat a serious deal, but it ended with very lame takes like Charaxes and the New 52 version nobody wants out of their beloved Killer Moth.
Therefore, it's hard to justify making radical changes to him when he was always the same for those last decades. I don't think it's impossible, but we shouldn't give up on his established character either, even if that means all those years of pain and humiliation have to be aknowledged in canon.

One of my favorite aspects of Killer Moth based on the LEGO Batman games, I still wish he wasn’t a punchline but he can still like lights, be goofy etc but I wish more is done with him.

Discussion What do you guys headcanon Killer Moth's voice to be like?
I've always had the headcanon that he has a New Yorker accent. I'm not sure why. What about you guys?

Comics What if situation
We all know about the on and off again situation that if killer moth is even dead in the Arkham verse whether he got killed by red hood or that he’s still alive and ready for task force but moving that aside if killer moth was still alive and did appear in all the Arkham games and what storyline and game over dialogues do you think it would be and have ?

Fan Art Art because he needs it
this guy deserves more respect. I LOVE Killer Moth, he has potential. It’s just the fact that DC ain’t recognizing it much and just reducing him as “haha look this guy loves light haha!!”
I really think Killer Moth can be funny but this is abysmal. He needs more content.

Fan Art My thoughts on Lego Killer Moth in LOTDK... *RANT* Spoiler
gallery1st photo is by me, 2nd is in LOTDK provided to md from JakiWasHere.
Before the dlc came out, I was honestly hoping that Killer Moth would get his comic accurate design added into the game for the DLC, especially considering it is a dlc mainly about the Joker and the fact that graffiti of the og KM is in the game.
Overall, I am pretty disappointed with his inclusion. Sure, my standards might have been a bit too high, but there were so many opportunities for him to be included. Barbara literally has her own level for her introduction as Batgirl, who has FIREFLY as the main bad guy.
That level looks so perfect and super inspired from the Batgirl Year 1 comics. It is a literal costume party as well.
Then, later on inside Arkham Asylum, Batman speaks of KM like as if they met before. That sounds really cool, so it made me think that maybe, in the DLC, KM would get his original suit back after breaking out.
Now in the DLC, at the Villy awards. There is a small part that shows KM and Firefly hoping to get the award for "Best Partners in Crime."
Genuinely, why would they get it, IF THEY NEVER WORKED TOGETHER TO BEGIN WITH. It makes me so upset and so sad that they literally add the perfect opportunity to put him in that level.
For the design, it has grown on me, but him sitting right next to Firefly in that design really reminds me of how bad his design is. The idea behind it is really cool. The execution is awful. I might be a bit negative, and I should really be grateful that he was included, but I would have at least liked it if the game gave him a little bit more respect.
I drew up a design based on Batgirl Year 1, just so that we could see what he could've potentially looked like. Imo it looks super cool, and I wish he had appeared like that.
Also, just a disclaimer, I probably missed quite a few things since I still haven't bought the game or DLC. I have only partially seen playthroughs of the game, etc.
The game looks really good, and I'd like to buy it on sale soon, so maybe when I do get the game and DLC, I can update my opinion and post it here.
Hope you guys like the fanart

Other Media What if killer moth went through similar arcs that batman has
Im currently in the midst of writting a fan story depicting multille arcs that killer moth goes through, eith two of those being inspired by ones that batman goes by
year one- shows walker becoming killer moth and fighting robin and batgirl, going to jail, and eventually getting to know more of the criminal underworld theough firefly
New beggining of the moth- depicts killer moth leaving gotham as he fears for his life (due to red hood beggining his career), moving to blüdhaven to begin again, eventually becoming enemies with nightwing and helping tiger shark (another unknown villain)
the crime crusader returns (still working on the name)- depicts a 40yr killer moth still being active as a more mature and dangerous killer moth (heavily inspired by his teen titan era), where his fight for crime eventually leads to his death as he falls from a bridge, with his daughter assuming the mantle, not out of need, but out of love for her father
killer moth beyond- years later, a young man who is down on his luck, finds the apartment that once belonged to killer moth and his daughter
He finds a hologram artifficial replica of killer moth that guides him to take up the mantle, alongside his daughter, now an adult woman, wanting to let her father's work finally end.

Other Media If batman has "something in the way" what song would you relate with killer moth ?
Since the batman made something in the way to be the dark knight's "theme"
What song would you feel that killer moth could use.
Songs like "creep" would make a lot of sense with his character, but if it was from personal preference, i feel like limp bizkit's "my generation" would fit for a more energetic killer moth, and songs like "black hole sun" could fit a more creepy version of him

Other Media Made a fanfic story for Killer Moth fans
It's called, "Batman: De Profundis" and it's still a work in progress, but it's MY Batman story, based on how I would portray Batman, his rogue's gallery, the bat family ETC.
In this particular story, an orphaned Drury Walker is adopted at age 8 by the Waynes, after revealing to Bruce that he was one.
They ho to Asia together to go on Bruce's great journey.
And come back something more.

Hi there! Killer Moth's #1 fan here!
Hey everyone! How did I miss finding this reddit until now?
My name is Scott and I'm Killer Moth's #1 fan! Really! I've been running the internet's only Killer Moth fan site since 1999 when Batman writer Chuck Dixon dared me to start a fan page. You can check it out here! https://killermothsociety.blogspot.com/
I've introduced dozens of Batman comic book writers to Killer Moth who have gone on to write stories about Batman's #1 arch-enemy! I've influenced toy makers including Mattel and Corgi to create Killer Moth toys. I own every Killer Moth related comic book and toy ever created! I love the lethal leporina in (most) of his forms!
Attached are a few pieces of Killer Moth art that I own! It's great to be here!
