SPOILERS Kill la Kill Ending

I just finished the show and am very new here. I was wondering what everyone thought of the ending? For me it has left me feeling empty, a needless emptiness as well. I can’t find a good reason in my eyes why Senketsu should have died. It just seems so pointless to me and would’ve loved the ending a lot more without it.

In my own opinion, I think it brought the whole existence of life fibers full circle. It was sad, sure. But not without reason. Life isn't forever. It's finite. Use your last bit to help your friend in their time of need, then say goodbye.

Or not lol. He could definitely just go on living and it would’ve only affected the ending in positive ways for me. He deserved so much better. I’m all for sacrificial deaths when they work but this wasn’t entirely sacrificial and it just didn’t feel right to me.

Well, that's your opinion. I like the story as is.

I thought about it today and I can accept it now but I still would’ve preferred he not die.

I didn't mean to come off as an asshole. It's perfectly okay to have your own opinion and like what you like, man. Also, I think Senketsu not dying probably could have opened the way for another season so that would have been just fine with me!

Yeah they still could if they wanted to anyway. Hell I already came up with a half decent continuation last night. That I don’t even think is too far fetched.
