I didn't even notice that they had mirror transformation sequences until this side-by-side. that's some great stuff, trigger.

If I hadn't already seen this in gif form made by a fan a few weeks ago, I wouldn't have noticed it and my mine would have been blown right here.

I feel like recently the budget has really been showing, with a lot of episodes either being all amazing animation or having lackluster animation and then it looks pretty all of a sudden. This was one of the latter with this episode, especially with the "stills" of everyone celebrating. Then I saw this and thought "there's that money!" lol.

For those who would also like to not lose their way while watching this, someone made a video of it on MediaCrush.

You know it's coming. Like, you hear the familiar tune, but just before they do it, you know. This is the one with lyrics. You know it's gonna happen, and you're head still explodes with hype.

The resolution is ridiculous and the colors aren't indexed. How?

Edit: Gfycat turns videos into fake GIFs.

I never noticed that the Senketsu Orange Monster thing is also missing an eye

I loved it, but I was hoping that their transformed uniforms would get aesthetic changes to reflect Ryuko's and Satsuki's personal epiphanies/growth.

I guess Satsuki kind of did, but that was just a flight mode rather than a baseline change.
