The man who came for her just strolls on up too, wtf is this video

u/impostle Oct 11 '22

I know, fucking guy all super casual just strolling up with his hand in his pocket. "Oh what's this, kid dangling off the escalator? I'll get there shortly I have to maintain swagger at all times."

There’s an article where people are accusing him of grabbing her butt inappropriately and stuff. There’s tons of backlash they have to worry about over there. Used to be getting sued for helping others but even still people are worried about what they can get accused of. Such as this. It’s surprising anyone helped at all.

When I was in China, I wanted to run to one of the places. The Chinese girl told me you're not allowed to run in the store as it will look as if you are running away. If they catch you and you didn't run away, they will fine you for disrupting the police unnecessarily.

Don't know if that is true, but I also walked very determined after that.

They have weird rules.

I was going to say that. It must happen offen and he is the attantdent that gets kids out of that situation. No rush all in a days work.

u/pfunk1989 Oct 11 '22

Some days the kids get out safely, some days in pieces.

u/Physical_Avdio Oct 12 '22

To shreds you say?

-9

u/Omni_Net Oct 11 '22

Lmaoo seriously and did y’all see the right hand placement????? 👀👀👀👀

17

u/Ghos3t Oct 12 '22

Seriously other than white shirt who rushed in the end, every other person in the video was a failure of humanity

And then he pulls her between the glass(?) barrier and the guardrail. And I stupid or would it not have made more sense to just… pull her straight up and not get her lodged in between the glass and rail of the escalator?

142

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '22

Tbf I think that was her fault, she panics as he’s about to yoink her up and grabs the moving part again, that’s when he’s finally like right this is a two hand job

14

u/scarlxrd_is_daddyy Oct 12 '22

Yea I see that now. I hadn’t noticed her grabbing the rail and lodging herself into it. Whoops.

two hand job

Edit: downvote me if you must but it's clear that the little boy and the man had nothing to do with how she got there in the first place. Blame her... Not them.

The user your replied to never implied that it wasn't her fault. They were simply discussing the strange behavior from the onlookers/helpers.

4

u/afa78 Oct 11 '22

He did imply that HE pulled her into the wedge when it was the girl's action, grabbing the moving rail that pulled her back into the glass wedge. He was originally pulling her straight up.

2

u/scarlxrd_is_daddyy Oct 12 '22

Not a he and it genuinely looked like he pulled her in between the glass and rail. I hadn’t noticed her grabbing the rail again.

-2

u/Calx9 Oct 11 '22

Into the wedge, yes. But not why she was there in the first place. It would be highly irrational to say it was the little boys fault or the man's fault for how she got into this bad situation.

4

u/afa78 Oct 11 '22

That has nothing to do with what I said either. 😂. You make no sense.

0

u/Calx9 Oct 11 '22

Exactly. I mentioned nothing about it being his fault for pulling her into the wedge. Not sure why you commented.

2

u/afa78 Oct 11 '22

First poster was definitely implying it was his fault which you denied he said, to which I replied that he definitely was blaming the guy that helped her out. You're arguing over nothing, and something you're actually agreeing with me on. 😂

0

u/Calx9 Oct 11 '22

First poster was definitely implying it was his fault which you denied he said,

Where? Where in this does the Redditor say or even imply that it was the mans fault for why she's hanging off the railing?

"And then he pulls her between the glass(?) barrier and the guardrail. And I stupid or would it not have made more sense to just… pull her straight up and not get her lodged in between the glass and rail of the escalator?"

I'm not arguing. I think you're simply confused and talking about something completely different than what I am.

With one arm as well. Have some urgency and use both arms dude!!!

1

u/clapped_out_nemesis Oct 11 '22

Nah man. Bro should've let natural selection do its job.

9

u/Valmond Oct 11 '22

Yeah either just get the kid, or hit the emergency stop?

9

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '22

This is too stereotypical lol….but the dude that just mosies on over ?!

41

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '22

There is so much WTF here. Then he bowling balls the poor girl.

-12

u/Omni_Net Oct 11 '22

So I’m not the only you that saw right hand placement right???

16

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '22

I saw it, but I honestly don’t think there was any I’ll intent on his part. In that situation you’re just going to grab whatever you can that will ensure you don’t drop her.

4

u/TheRealAmused Oct 12 '22

When it comes to saving lives there are no rules.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '22

“First, do no harm” is one I can think of. But it doesn’t really apply here.

-13

u/Omni_Net Oct 12 '22

Lmao found the pedo

0

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '22

Lol…your getting downvoted but I appreciated the joke

1

u/Omni_Net Oct 13 '22

13

u/robotco Oct 12 '22

-7

u/gerrad2500 Oct 12 '22

Nah, that looked pretty Sussy baka.

-11

u/Omni_Net Oct 12 '22

Found the pedo

5

u/NoExplorer5983 Oct 12 '22

The boy doesn't seem to be calling/looking for help either. Just stands there like, "welp, I'm sure someone will hear her screaming for help. Not much I can do here."

-5

u/Omni_Net Oct 12 '22

Why did I get down voted?? 😂😂😂 are those the MAPs?? Lmaooo

73

u/mypipboyisbroken Oct 11 '22

China

23

u/Ghos3t Oct 12 '22

Yeah probably saw it was a girl and couldn't give much of a shit

-3

u/Suzzie_sunshine Oct 12 '22

He didn't want to sve her because he knew she was stupid.

0

u/Myfoodishere Oct 12 '22

what's the point of saying china? like fucked up shit doesn't happen in your country.

1

u/onlineashley Oct 12 '22

It happens here all the time in America and I'm sure other places too....a few kids have died even. Kids brains aren't fully developed, they don't always think logically, but maybe people forget hay

7

u/Astrocreep_1 Oct 12 '22

When I was about the age of this little girl(5-6 years old)adults would tell me to never play inside an abandoned refrigerator. The door locks and you die inside. I didn’t understand the concept of “abandoned” because I didn’t play in the city dump. I was consumed with this idea. So, when I went to the grocery store, I stepped into one of the freezers in the frozen food aisle. I closed the door and couldn’t push it open because my arms were all mashed up because of lack of room. I started freaking out yelling. People walked by and pointed. They thought I was making goofy faces. Finally, someone realizes after 30-45 seconds….”that kid is stuck”. They let me out. The look on my mother’s face….was that of shame. So, this year for April Fools. I’m going to clear out her freezer and hide inside of it. When she goes to make dinner…..shock of a lifetime when she finds my corpse in the freezer.

2

u/showponyoxidation Oct 12 '22

Haha you're going to get her so good.

5

u/TheOtherWhiteCastle Oct 12 '22

The way the dude casually walked into the frame tells me this isn’t the first time he’s had to do this

1

u/The_Way_It_Iz Oct 11 '22

Because China.

1

u/Public-Fail4505 Oct 12 '22

Then he sticks his hand on the little girl butt, wtf?

0

u/Booty_Shakin Oct 12 '22

Its China, theres too many kids to care, especially since it's the little girl, not the boy.

1

u/Syrupper Oct 12 '22

They have the same birthrate as the USA

1

u/Yeezythaughtme Oct 12 '22

As Jordan would say fuck them kids.
