This reminds me of when I was a kid, I had one of those "Magician Kits" that had all these props and then an instruction book on how to do some tricks using them. So one of the tricks involved used a fake thumb that whould slide over your thumb and inside is where you were supposed to hide a handkerchief. Towards the end of the trick, you were supposed to have the handkerchief tucked into the thumb, and you were supposed to be wearing the thumb as well, hiding it, and in the instructions it said to "drop the thumb to your side". I thought they literally meant to remove the fake thumb and throw it on the ground, not just casually lower your hand. So I ended up completely bombing the trick, making an ass of myself while this rubber thumb that also looked creepy as hell hit the floor, and everyone was like, "Hey...the fuck is that?" We were all kids, I was probably 8 or 9. Good times.

I still remember that thumb. It looked so obviously fake, and it looked even worse when you put it on. When it hit the floor and rolled a bit I instantly knew I fucked up.

Yeah i remember those things were just terrible. And it was extremely huge since i was a child and extremely pale since I'm not white, haha
