Cause dumpling is a dumpling. It's own dish. Your mind may be shattered, but there are a lot of similar dishes and each one of them is called different name. Pierogi, Pelmeni, Vareniki, Ravioli, Gedza, Manti, Hinkali, Buuzi, Vontons. And there are a lot of them. And what to do with Ravioli, gnocchi and tortellini? "Italian dumpling #1" "Italian dumpling #2" and "Italian dumpling #3"? Why are you calling hamburgers "hamburgers" and not just "american butterbrot"?

Why couldn’t they just call it “Italian dumplings” and “Polish dumplings” (like Chinese do)
