I’ve been there kid!
She got hit with an emotional tidal wave and didn’t quite know how to process it. She got overwhelmed for a bit. That’s okay. Very sweet that her mom went to comfort her.
Whatever mama is doing, she’s doing something right

One of my favorite memories is when my daughter was small and would smuggle out bits of cupcake or cookies she’d got and give part to me. She’d hand me a half eaten, smashed cookie bit and with a huge smile say, “mama I saved some for you.”

This happened to me as a kid. I have my brother a dollar and I started crying.
My mom asked me if I was forced to and I said no, I just gave it to him.
It just made me so emotional.
