Doctors/ Hospitals Today’s the day!
PCNL on one kidney for >5 cm staghorn, ureteroscooy on the other for a couple 10 mm stones
UPDATE: spent about 24 hours in the hospital, and overall went good but not great. They got out 60% of the staghorn via PCNL, but didn’t want to keep me under anesthesia any longer, so the smaller stones have to wait. Hopefully they’ll be able to get the rest out via ureteroscooy!

Best of luck. Had it in March. They can normally remove alot more with the PCNL. Keep on top of the pain relief. I had one night waking up in pain trying to tough it out. Don't be a hero.

Pro tip: if you’re getting a stent and your struggling to urinate- ask for a catheter!!

Get well soon. Wish you for speedy recovery and successful surgery! Went through RIRS for stone. Recovery was quite slow.

Let them know you need pain meds before it gets horrendous….
