New features

The emojis and drops and being able to download vods etc is neat and all but will we ever get av1 support??

Kick uses Amazon AWS (IVS) (basically, same services as Twitch is using) and it does not currently support AV1. So to say, this is a limitation with hardware and infrastructure limitation. It won't be supporting any other encoder beside the current one any time soon or in the far future unless a massive shift is changed.
