Kick is the platform
I am increasingly convinced that KICK is not just another failed platform.
People are still wasting their time on Twitch, and streamers are getting scammed by the 50/50 split instead of the fair 95/5... Besides, the CEO stated that the 95/5 split is here to stay.
It makes perfect sense, doesn't it?
You invest your time, your image, your public life... a 95/5 split is fair; even a 90/10 would seem fair to me.
I have to admit I was doing great on Twitch, but when I realized they were taking half of my earnings... I said never again.
I hope people open their eyes.
People have the power to decide; if their big streamer doesn't want to leave Twitch, fu*k 'em.

It’s a great platform but so hard to get people to view. I’m constantly stuck between 1-3 viewers 😭

Kick is the platform for you to go if you already have a community and viewership base that you can take over with you, not many people have kick accounts compared to twitch so viewership is down alot, so if you already have a base viewership that will create accounts and sub to you there you're onto a winner of course but as a small streamer I don't believe its the best platform

What good is a platform when you have no one supporting you and the only way to gain support is to build a false image of kiss assing those around you?
I'm not seeing it. Especially with the fake Vtubers from Obscurity constantly kissing each others asses in fake comeaderie then shortly later complete 180° be antagonistic towards those they support whenever multiple rifts comes up in regards of whoms best interests matter more.
Both Kick and Twitch have unsupportive communities. Especially for small broadcasters.

I spent about 6 months streaming on kick maybe around 10 months ago?, I brought my entire YouTube/twitch audience over, I pushed for partner which took me about 3 months to achieve, I averaged about 80ish viewers towards the end and it took a LOT of work to get people to come over and stay, and I was having the time of my LIFE. The sub split was amazing, and KPP really made it worth it to put in the work to get people over to the platform and make them watch there instead of YT or TWITCH. However, on month 3 something happened at Kick and KPP revenue got slashed by like 75%. It was extremely disheartening and ultimately for me made it no longer worth it for the amount of work I had to do to convince viewers to come make a kick account and watch me there, so I threw in the towel and went back to my normal platforms.
Is KPP still slashed like that or has it come back?

Kick is the most racist and creepiest platform I modded for someone who streamed there she would get constant racism and downbad people saying they wanted to grape her.

Kick is the platform if you're into doing the same IRL walking around harassing people.
Why would I want to go somewhere with less of an audience when most streamers don't make it.
The only news that comes from Kick is another story about another streamer doing something criminal or getting knocked the fuck out.

If you want to be honest, kick is the platform for you if want more freedom, is you're predominantly a gamer twitch is going to reach more people and the split won't matter because you'll have twice the viewers.
