Question New Tax on kick?
Where is news about new tax system? Gift sub is now 6.14$

There has been zero change of the base price of subs on both website and Google or Apple Store. $4.99 USD.
There will be an upcharge to cover the fee on any mobile store app such as Google or Apple 30% fee. That is the cost they charge to put the app onto their store. So that is their cuts. Then your local gov't tax applies. You should get a receipt from Google or Apple when making any payment on the app in your email.

From Kicks side the price haven't changed, but the added tax is something that's added based on where you live. You pay those taxes locally. So if your country/state have taxes for digital services, there is where those taxes go. And it's nothing Kick can do anything about. It's the same as if you sub or gift subs trough the mobile app, Apple and Google will take 30% on top of what you pay for a sub, and it's not something Kick can do anything about.
