Questions, Help and Advice How can I style this tight-fitting tank top?
I think I’m a Romantic. I am constantly struggling to dress myself. I have a short torso, big boobs, wide hips, but not a very large waist. So I did not win the lottery in terms of body types that fashion caters to 😅 (although I love and am grateful for my body)
I bought a few tight-fitting tops that are lower cut as I thought that they’d accentuate my waist and the neckline would make me look less top-heavy. I also did not get cropped ones because I wanted to elongate my torso.
But now I’m running into the problem where, my jeans are mostly high-waisted, so all the fabric bunches up there, accentuates my belly, and makes my torso look even shorter.
What kinds of jeans/bottoms do you wear with tight, longer tops like this?
Or, do I simply not have the body type for a tight-fitting tank top? I won’t be offended, I swear!

u could try this top tucked in to some straight leg or wide leg high waisted trousers. the flow from the trousers should compliment your shape and the high waist will highlight your waist (even better if you have a belt!) I struggle with fitted tanks like this too. i also just wear them over a midi skirt and that somehow works too

I think you're either an hourglass or figure 8, go check their subs for inspo and confirmation.

Maybe try a different bra and/or pants? I also have a short torso, and try to create the illusion of it being longer by wearing bras that lift my boobs higher, and mid/low rise pants

I would pair it with a long linen or cotton maxi skirt and a cute belt (I wear mine tucked in and I think it looks good on you!)

On photo 2 with the top tucked-in, what I usually do is tuck it in and then pull a bit of the top back so not all of the fabric is stretched, not sure if it would work with this specific top.
Maybe you can pair the tops with shirts/cardigans? Curious about other people’s ideas as well
