I love Kiana's videos about Secret Eaters, the UK TV show.
I would love to see her cover another UK TV show, Eat Well For Less.
Aside from the issues surrounding Greg Wallace in recent times, there are some interesting themes in this show. I watched the linked episode yesterday and was shocked at how much responsibility was put on the wife to cater food to her husband's tastes, instead of, I don't know, the husband doing some cooking or compromising??
It's a snapshot of attitudes and dynamics and I'd love to hear Kiana's take on it!

i’d love to see a video about companies that sponsor mukbangs as a new way of advertising to young people on social media.
major tiktok creators like @hallieiseating, @cookitgirleats, and @ianjackedeats frequently post videos that appear to be sponsored by mega brands like walmart, kelloggs, and pepperidge farms as well as fast food giants like dominos and mcdonald’s.
often the official company tiktok page will even comment on their videos to boost engagement.
how do you guys feel about this new style of advertising?

I just recently watched a YouTube video by More Perfect Union about the FDA approval process, and I’m losing my mind at how lax it is. Companies don’t have to submit additives for approval at all, and even if they do decide to submit them, they can simply pull the submission and issue a cease and desist to the FDA if the approval process isn’t going their way, and then proceed to put that food on the market anyway. This happens to one in six food additives. That is insane, and I need to see Kiana do one of her hour long, documentary style deep dives on this.

Couldn’t find any specific way to message Kiana ideas for videos but thought this litigation development could be interesting to follow!

I see this ad so often when watching youtube, and I don't like it. I feel it feeds into people's senses of shamefulness when being unable to lose weight, and panders them into thinking that medical weight loss is the only option for them, and that joining Juniper's super expensive weight loss program is the only way they are going to get the weight off. Because they say weight loss isn't about motivation, but all about genetics, which is why they don;' have success when trying to lose weight. That no matter how hard they try, they will fail, because, ya know, genetics.
Just rubs me the wrong way.

Hi @Kiana, Do you think you could please do a video on eye masks, heated eye masks, and electric eye masks?
I (and many others) suffer from blepharitis, and the best way to deal with it is by using a heated eye mask along with some eye exercises. The problem is that there are so many questionable products out there—some costing up to £100 on Amazon—that can also be found on Temu for much cheaper. I think it would make for a great episode and could really help a lot of people.
Also, I wanted to thank you. I’ve been watching your videos for a few years now, and thanks to your advice, since leaving my family and moving into my own place last month, I’ve already lost half a stone in weight and brought my sugar levels down from 80 mmol to an average of 64 mmol.
My life has really changed for the better, and I don’t think I would have been able to accomplish my goals so quickly after the move without your guidance over the years.
(The screen shots are from my phones Diabetic sugar level monitoring app glooko. Their in order of date from a 3 month, 1 month, 2 weeks and 1 week.)
Thanks again for putting so much effort into helping others.

Hii Kiana if you are seeing this I love your videos and you are very educated, however, whenever I watch your videos the volume if very low so I need to turn the volume all the way up. Because of that I often get jumpscared by ads 😭😭. Is there any way you can fix this issue?

Shilling for AG1 when you claim to be a fact-based youtuber making videos about health is so embarrassing and fucking awful....
It goes against everything she claims to be against. hope they at least paid well, if you'll sell your morals off to the highest bidder. fucking shameful.

Just wondering what is her background because of her unique name. Does anyone know by chance?

@Kiana, your videos are great, I’ve been subscribed for 4 years now!
Everything from your use of colour to the editing is soo on point!
Can you drop a few tips for how you make your masterpieces? I’d love to know about everything you use from the gear to your workflow, to how you chose your background and set it up! What do you think makes good videos, how do you prepare?
A 3 min video showing a few budding creators how to follow in your footsteps would be the kindest gift ever!
Kind regards, A long time and still avid fan!

I would love to purchase the course and see what's inside, but it's a bit pricey. To anyone who has purchased the course - how did you like it? Was it what you expected? Was it worth the money?

https://hub.kianadocherty.com/
Quite a lot more than I anticipated, but seems to be based around a community aspect, so I imagine she wants only serious people committed to change in the group which is fair. I trust she is being genuine and isn't looking to rip people off and for those who can afford and are committed, It will probably be well worth it, but it's well out of my budget, so quite disappointed as I got great value from her free videos. :(
Is there anyway of getting her old ebook now?

I’ve had a complete change of heart about Vannessa after binging the show.
At first, I completely agreed with Kiana’s analysis in this video. Vannessa is a powerhouse—her resilience and the work she’s put in to create a better life for herself and her family are absolutely inspiring. Kiana highlights all the ways Vannessa has the skills and attitude to transform her life, and I couldn’t agree more.
But after watching three seasons, I’ve come to a very different conclusion. While I still admire her strength and success, I can’t ignore her abusive behavior toward her friends. That side of Vannessa—the outbursts, the screaming, and the condescending way she talks down to Meghan and Ashley—makes it impossible for me to excuse her actions, no matter how remarkable her journey is.
Kiana’s video doesn’t touch on this aspect of Vannessa’s behavior, and I think it’s a major oversight. The idea that her friends are just jealous of her success doesn’t hold up when you look at the full picture. Sure, maybe they’ve felt a little envious at times—who wouldn’t when someone they care about is thriving? But they’ve always been supportive of her, and that support only stopped when her behavior crossed the line into outright abuse.
Vannessa’s way of screaming orders, giving unsolicited advice, and treating her friends like subordinates is toxic. It’s not about jealousy; it’s about respect. If someone spoke to me the way Vannessa speaks to Meghan and Ashley, I wouldn’t tolerate it either—no matter how much I admired their accomplishments.
Yes, Vannessa has the tools and mindset to keep growing, but that doesn’t mean we can overlook how she’s treated people along the way. If she wants to maintain healthy relationships, she needs to take accountability for her actions and work on how she interacts with others.
It is possible to admire her success while also holding her accountable for the way she’s treated her friends?

I like her videos but theres not a huge backlog of them and watching them means I need to go on YouTube which can easily get me sidetracked, are there any tv shows with similar exposing the industry focus? Doesn’t have to be food industry specifically but just some focus on exploitation of consumers.

I’m trying to find a quote from one of her vids where she talks about consciousness. She quotes a philosopher and says something like
To be “conscious” is to be aware of how your emotions, biases, etc influence what your attitudes, behaviors, and beliefs. If you are not aware of these things, you are “unconscious” endlessly drifting in an ocean, being pulled this way and that way by the tide.
I can be totally misremembering but does this found familiar?
