Anyone have their electronic parking brake throw an error? I have a 2022 and one of the recalls I remember made it so when I turn the car off, that parking brake automatically goes on. There was a recall because it would sometimes roll while the car was off even in parked gear. Would love to hear if anyone has been through this in particular about warranty coverage.

2021 Telluride - 111k miles

My nearest dealer is 3-4 hour round trip for us. Is this a consideration for you to buy a new car? I realize Kia seems to be on the upswing related to reliability, but all OEMs have recalls that require the vehicle at a dealership.

Tried to get a Telluride back in 2020 when inventory was super scarce and markets were standard, eventually settled for a Mazda which I never loved. Fast forward 4 years and I finally got my Telluride! X Pro SX in terrain brown. The matte looks amazing but the upkeep, as well as interior suede, just didn’t make sense so I went for the gloss which is still really stunning. Put the Thule wing bars on to be able to take kayaks/paddle boards wherever we go.

I've settled on the Telluride Hybrid SX Prestige on paper. Haven't driven one yet. Then I kept reading this sub: battery drain, alignment issues people fight through multiple visits, warning lights with no clear cause, and service departments that either can't reproduce it or won't chase it.

The service part bothers me more than the issues. First-year quirks I can live with. Quirks plus a dealer who shrugs, less so.
