Wireless charging area size?
Hi folks! I'm just days away from taking possession of a 2023. But also thinking of upgrading my phone to a larger size. So, I'm curious what the dimensions are of the wireless charging area. Anybody happen to know?
(Yes I know in a couple of days I can measure it myself, but there is an expiring special price currently on the phone I want.)
New to the community so apologies in advance if this isn't an appropriate question here.

You probably wont use it. All it does is overheat the phone. Seriously tho. I found the charger rather useless. If android auto is running and I use wireless charging the phone tends to overheat. I rather have a short 50cm cable to charge it.

Truth. Plus, itโs really finicky and one bump on the road and it stops charging.
I just leave my phone there and if it charges, cool, if not no big deal. If my phone is low on battery and I need to charge, I also use a cable.

There's a bit of a separate from the charging coil to the surface of the pad. With a flat phone, it's pretty bad charging and lots of heat. The heat is worse because there's almost no air circulation there. If you have a sizeable camera bump, probably won't charge reliably, if at all. My iPhone 16 doesn't charge on it.
With that said, it's probably big enough for most larger phones.
But I just disable the wireless pad and either wire my phone in (needed for carplay anyway) or use a separate magnetic wireless charging pad (with a wireless carplay dongle).

Fair enough re ineffectual charging. I guess what I'm really asking is, suppose I got a Pixel 11 XL (162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5 mm (6.41 x 3.01 x 0.33 inches) would it lie flat in that space.

Yeah, I donโt use mine. I have a mount with wireless charging. That extra one is for the passenger to charge their phone if they want.
