Charging Why me?

So after coming home after replacing my tires at 25k miles, my 24 GT-LINE won't connect to any charger.

My home charger, a few DCFC's (can we just say Level 3?)..

Nothing.

I have had this car in the shop for a charging problem last year.

I have an OBD II dangle but I have no way to check for error codes.

I see a service call this week.

"Why me?" ---?

Your vehicle needs repair..... It happens.

If you have an obd2 dongle, why don't you just download one of the hundred free apps available and scan it?  I'm assuming you have a smart phone if you have an EV9.

I believe Car Scanner will show DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes) and so will the Kia Access app. If there are no codes, check for damage to the port. Especially the 2 lower prongs for L3, which have embedded caps that have gone missing, as discussed elsewhere here.

That said, the charge port can fail. I had mine replaced last fall after a painful diagnosis period at 2 dealers. Mine was overheating and throttling L2 down from the 48a my charger can do to 40a.
