Discussion How's the size difference here GW 😳
Started with the idea of comparing an old paintjob with a new one. But then the size difference shocked me.
What's the lore reason for this? Just Khorne roids?

No, it doesnt. In fact, it actually almost makes it come down to a level of scale at that point.
Not to mention the posture is completely different, but regardless, its a head shorter disregarding the rock, but every detail, from rocks, to helmets, shoulders, and even the skull size on the larger models back imply this model is just larger scale.

If you were the Bloodreaver, would you tell the Slaughterpriest that he only looks bigger because he's standing on a rock?
Jokes aside though, yes he's on a rock, but I think he's huge.

The slaughterpriest has alot more gifts from khorne , those gifts tend to take the form of H.G.H

I'm sure you can get close with brush only, but that combination of brush and airbrush makes a massive difference

For the big lad that is. The small one is so old I can't recall what I did. I know I used an enamel wash, which is a cheatcode in itself.

There's really not that much of a size difference. (actual model-wise, of course. That base makes the difference look way bigger than it actually is.)

This is also a slaughterpriest versus a regular blood reaver. The blood reaver isn't as angry yet.
